Deuteronomium 32:17

SV	Zij hebben aan de duivelen geofferd, niet aan God; aan de goden, die zij niet kenden; nieuwe, die van nabij gekomen waren, voor dewelke uw vaders niet geschrikt hebben.
WLC	יִזְבְּח֗וּ לַשֵּׁדִים֙ לֹ֣א אֱלֹ֔הַ אֱלֹהִ֖ים לֹ֣א יְדָע֑וּם חֲדָשִׁים֙ מִקָּרֹ֣ב בָּ֔אוּ לֹ֥א שְׂעָר֖וּם אֲבֹתֵיכֶֽם׃
Trans.	yizəbəḥû laššēḏîm lō’ ’ĕlōha ’ĕlōhîm lō’ yəḏā‘ûm ḥăḏāšîm miqqārōḇ bā’û lō’ śə‘ārûm ’ăḇōṯêḵem:

AC	יז יזבחו לשדים לא אלה-- {ר} אלהים לא ידעום {ס} חדשים מקרב באו {ר} לא שערום אבתיכם {ס}
ASV	They sacrificed unto demons, [which were] no God, To gods that they knew not, To new [gods] that came up of late, Which your fathers dreaded not.
BE	They made offerings to evil spirits which were not God, to gods who were strange to them, which had newly come up, not feared by your fathers.
Darby	They sacrificed unto demons who are not +God; To gods whom they knew not, To new ones, who came newly up, Whom your fathers revered not.
